Refunds will not be given for any deposits unless you can provide military orders. This course is integrated with A&P and is offered concurrently with the start of the Medic Program. You must attend all A&P as it runs with the start of the Medic course.

The Johnson County Ambulance District would like to extend an offer for our Paramedic Program starting December 2, 2025. We are offering a convenient shift-based schedule. Classes are offered both Tuesday and Wednesday each week. Both classes are identical and hopefully fit most schedules. Classes begin each day at 0830 and end at 1700 both days. The days will be split into lectures during the mornings and skills in the afternoon.
We will be offering a program that is not just preparing the student to pass the NREMT exam but be job-ready and understand the dynamic changes that are occurring in the EMS world including critical care thinking, community paramedic, telemedicine among others.
The cost of the program will be $8800.00 this includes
Uniform polo
Drug Screen/ Background check
AAOS Caroline in the Streets Book Vol 1 and Vol 2
Fisdap tracking and scheduling and testing
By registering for this program you will be required to pay a $500.00 deposit at the time of registration that is non refundable, and pay at least $2000.00 before the first day of class. If payment is not paid in full prior to the start of the course, a payment plan can be entered into with a finance charge. All payments with the payment plan are typically due within 8 months of starting the medic program.
Paramedic programs can be stressful and require a large amount of time and energy to complete the requirements of the course. Please take this in to account before registering for our course. We will endeavor to prepare the student with modern teaching techniques and experts in their field to provide insight in their specialty. This will involve 256 hours of lecture, 130 lab hours, 408 clinical hours in the intra hospital setting, and 408 hours in the pre-hospital setting.
