Captain Otto worked at JCAD first in a part-time capacity from December of 2002 through September of 2007, then later joined in a full-time capacity in February of 2020, and is currently serving as the captain on B-shift. He obtained his EMT license in 1994, and his paramedic license 4 years later in
1998. Butch enjoys seeing the relief on people’s faces when he’s able to help them. “Sometimes it is just being courteous to people and just being polite that brings the biggest smiles to people and our patients.”
